Meet Dr. Todd J. Sheffler
Education & Experience
Dr. Sheffler is a 1991 graduate of the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, Dental School, University of Maryland. After graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Baltimore, where he gained extensive surgical and restorative experience.
While in dental school, Dr. Sheffler was invited to join the Dominican Dental Project, a mission trip founded and led by his mentor. Dr. Sheffler led groups of dentists over four years to the remote areas of the Dominican Republic to deliver much-needed dental care. Dr. Sheffler’s dental passion has always been dental implants and dental lasers. Dr. Sheffler has been placing and restoring dental implants for over 30 years.
Professional Involvement
Dr. Sheffler is one of the innovators of the BLAST Protocol, a laser-assisted implant protocol. He’s also a Key Opinion Leader for dental laser and dental implant companies. He lectures internationally on dental implants, laser dentistry, digital dentistry and practice management.
Dr. Sheffler is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Hampshire Dental Society, the International College of Oral Implantologists, The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.
Before Caring Family Dentistry
Before relocating to New Hampshire with his family in 2008, Dr. Sheffler was a partner in two dental practices in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area of Southern Maryland. Dr. Sheffler and his wife, Johanna, live in the New London area, where she is a landscape designer. They have two grown daughters, a CICU nurse at DHMC, and a professional equestrian in FL. Dr. Sheffler welcomes new and existing patients to come see the newest and most amazing dental technology Caring Family Dentistry is known for.
Meet Dr. Adam R. Teixeira
Education & Experience
Dr. Teixeira received his D.D.S. degree from New York University College of Dentistry and a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University.
Following graduation, Dr. Teixeira completed a postdoctoral residency in general dentistry at the University of Connecticut. He is committed to advancing his education and working towards a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside the Office
Dr. Teixeira grew up in southeastern Massachusetts and currently lives in Hooksett. Dr. Teixeira enjoys photography, hiking, biking, and kayaking in his free time.
Meet Dr. Alicia Gittleman
Education & Experience
Dr. Gittleman received her D.M.D degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2009 after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry from Middlebury College.
After graduation, Dr. Gittleman completed a General Practice Residency at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT. She has completed numerous continuing education classes to provide her patients with the highest level of care, recently becoming an Invisalign provider.
Outside the Office
Dr. Gittleman enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with her husband and three children outside the office.
Meet Dr. Hannah Schneider
Education & Experience
Growing up, Dr. Schneider loved going to the dentist. When she witnessed the positive impact dental care made on people’s lives, she knew immediately that dentistry was what she wanted to do! Dr. Scneider went on to graduate from Seton Hill University and received her dental training at the University of New England Dental School.
Dr. Schneider’s goals are to provide comprehensive treatment and ensure all patients are comfortable and confident. With the help of her American Dental Association membership, she can achieve her goals every day!
Outside the Office
Dr. Schneider loves exploring trails with her dog Mitzie and trying new restaurants with her boyfriend.
